Summer Vacation Programme | Johannesburg & Cape Town

Would you like to get an insight into what life is like at Africa’s largest law firm? You have come to the right place.

Our Vacation Programme allows you to gain exposure at the coalface and see the types of matters we do. You’ll witness what drives us to excel and see a little bit of what we call “home”.

Our Vacation Programme isn’t just a shadowing exercise; rather, it’s fully structured to give you an introduction to the firm and the business of law. You’ll get to attend interesting talks by ENS Executives, go on court visits and work with highly experienced attorneys and there’ll also be some fun activities too. In addition, you also will have a final interview at the end of the Programme

We offer Vacation Programmes in the following offices:

  • Cape Town (South Africa): June/July and November/December
  • Johannesburg (South Africa): June/July and November/December

If you are studying a four year LLB or equivalent, the best time to apply is during your second year. For those pursuing a combined BA Law / BCom Law with LLB or equivalent, the earliest you can apply is the final year of your BA Law/BCom Law. If you’re completing the three year post-graduate LLB or equivalent, please apply during your first year of your post-graduate.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Grade 12/ Matric / equivalent certificate
  •  Currently studying towards at least one of the following:
    •  BA Law
    •  BAcc LLB
    •  BCom Law
    • LLB
    • LLM
    • with a excellent academic record
