Jaden Christians is a third-year LLB student at the University of Pretoria. She is a proud member of the Golden Key Society and a participant in the UP Women in Law Society. Her passion for the legal field fuels her aspirations of becoming an attorney, specialising in administrative law. Jaden’s interest in administrative law was ignited during her third year of studies, prompted by the scarcity of legal practitioners, particularly women operating within this particular sphere. She was also drawn to the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act 3 of 2002 and the distinctive manner in which the act diverges from the conventional application of legality. Jaden shares that she is sincerely grateful to be part of the SWCM 2023 mentorship programme and is eagerly looking forward to witnessing both her professional and personal growth.
