SWCMNPC MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME 2024/25

SWCM NPC was established on the premise of making the legal profession accessible to aspirant legal minds, with a special focus on individuals from marginalized backgrounds who are intending to pursue a career within the legal fraternity.

Annually, SWCM runs a mentorship programme exclusively for law students enrolled in tertiary institutions within South Africa and young professionals. The mentorship programme lasts six (6) months, during which participants are exposed to various aspects of the legal profession and receive training in the following areas:

  • Job Shadowing
  • Legal Writing
  • Financial Education
  • Mental Health Education
  • Profile/Resumé Writing
  • Employment Etiquette
  • Professional Conduct
