Pride Ngcobo
Pride Ngcobo is a dedicated legal graduate and published author with a strong academic foundation and a deep commitment to social justice and advocacy. She holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and a BA in Humanities from the University of Johannesburg, where she triple-majored in Development Studies, Public Management and Government, and Sociology.
With practical experience gained through her work as a Student Counsellor at the Wits School of Law and as a Vacation Student at the Oberholzer Magistrate Court, Pride has developed a keen interest in Refugee and Immigration Law as well as criminal justice.
Her advocacy work includes serving as a Student Advocate for the Wits Gender Equity Office, chairing the Disability Awareness Movement Society, and facilitating inclusive spaces through SafeZones @Wits.
Pride’s multifaceted journey reflects her passion for transformative justice, equity, and empowerment. She brings a unique blend of academic excellence, practical experience, and a heart for community-centered change.
